Love Your Teddy Bear Day Officially Begins on July 5, 2004 

MYRTAL CREEK, OREGON  -- With the popularity of some very unique days of celebrations such as Cherry Popover Day, Don’t Step on a Bee Day and Hugging Day, Patricia Twitchell, owner of Just Bears and Stuff Gift Shop today announced the official “Love Your Teddy Bear Day”.  Hoping this will be a favorite celebration of teddy bear lovers everywhere, the annual celebration will be recognized each July 5th.   Whether one enjoys plush bears, resins, one of a kinds, or your standard teddy bear, Patricia Twitchell encourages folks to celebrate by giving a teddy bear to someone you care about.
            “With so many bear enthusiasts throughout the world, we thought this would be a fun way to celebrate and honor the love of bears,” says owner Pat Twitchell. “We have bear lovers who are regular customers from as far away as the Congo, Japan, Australia and of course, throughout the United States.”

Just Bears & Stuff Gift Shop was established in 1993.
